The Department of Community Health Nursing aims at providing a comprehensive system of education to students and preparing them as an exemplary Community Health Nurse in executing quality Promotive, Preventive & Curative health service to the individual, family and community as a whole.
Community Health Nursingfaculty helps to develop the skills of the students for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individuals, families, groups and community at different stages of their lives.They are also involved in imparting regular health education to the public of the rural and urban areas.
The department is associated with offering great support in nursing training, exploration and practice which incorporate thorough and all encompassing nursing care administrations focusing on preventive, promotive, remedial and rehabilitative parts of care in the community.The Department effectively takes an interest in the expansion exercises like National Health Programs and wellbeing camps.
